Help & FAQ
Everything a new organizer needs: how the app flows from empty page to published event, and straight answers about pairing, scores, groups, access and privacy.
Getting started
From empty page to published event in five steps.
Step 1
Create the event
Name it, pick the game, set rounds and table sizes, choose Swiss or round-robin. An optional bilingual description (English + Spanish) travels with every share preview. Creating it takes seconds — no account needed.
Step 2
Load the roster
Add players one by one or paste a whole list. Running groups (‘keys’)? Tag each player with a pool — A, B, C… or custom labels — or let auto-split balance everyone in one shot.
Step 3
Tune scoring & access
Scoring rules are configurable per event. Add an organizer passcode so only you pair rounds and confirm scores; hand staff devices a staff code and they can only run the judge-call queue.
Step 4
Run the rounds
Pair, print table slips and QR posters, then confirm each table’s score. Standings, tiebreakers and the round timer update everywhere the moment you confirm — nothing advances silently.
Step 5
Publish & share
Anyone with the event code or a QR sees the live venue screen — TV, phones, even embedded on a club site. Share links, the recap card and per-pool standings keep everybody posted until the podium.
